001 - First Bell [Action/Voice]

[The feeling of grass beneath her was a bit startling, and she shot up into a seated position; had she been attacked on the way to Bau by archers? Did some some of illness overtake her while she was traveling? Once her head cleared enough for her to think properly, however, she realized that she was thankfully unharmed -- save for the dull ache between her large wings, which she then proceeded to spend several moments examining -- and then rambling over, as she talks to herself about the complete impossibility of having a feathered set of wings on her person that are entirely too small to be of use...]

[... After she spends some time mulling over the illogical details in her head, she finally rises and takes a step forward -- her toes nudge the journal, which leads to her bending over and picking it up carefully. Her fingers trace over its surface for a moment before she speaks.]

This is a weird turn of events, indeed...

[Tucking the small book beneath her arm, she begins to walk on ahead.]

[After a long while of walking, the residents of the town can see a dark-haired woman with two large appendages tucked behind her back. Her darkened eyes are looking straight ahead, though her ears seem to be twitching and moving, ever so faintly, as though trying to pinpoint noises.]

[Luceti, meet Anodrac. Clearly, she's unfamiliar with her surroundings, and a little bit nervous, to boot. Anyone want to be the one to welcome her?]

"New Feather time"?

[She's not too far behind now, since she's finally shaken the awkwardness out of her head. She's going to be following him like a duckling following a mother duck for the entire time, though.]

Ah, yeah. People call people who newly arrival "new feathers" for some reason.

[He nods at this, sparing a glance back at her]

Perhaps it has something to do with the newly-acquired set of feathered wings on their person?

[She tries to move the small pair on her back for added emphasis, but instead ends up moving both her natural wings and her Filial wings at once. Hard to prove a point when the object you're talking about is obscured from view...]

[Okay that's alarming. He sharply looks at her wings for a moment, and then looks away. He shrugs]

[She nods her head in acknowledgment, and smiles.]

I am Anodrac Ynnej. [For the sake of sounding it out, it's pronounced "Ah-no-drak Ee-neh". Her language is weird.] I am very fortunate to have someone as kind as you to lead me around.

[Wow okay... Anodorak? No, that's not right.] Please, please! It's the duty of any man to escort a lovely lady like yourself.

[There's a moment of awkward fidgeting on her behalf, during which she manages to drop her journal onto the ground.]

Ah! [She stops, bending to pick up the book slowly. After a moment's pause, she asks:] Oh, right. This book... does it have any significance? I found it when I came to.

[...Yes, Ano-chan works]

[She shakes her head.]
