[... After she spends some time mulling over the illogical details in her head, she finally rises and takes a step forward -- her toes nudge the journal, which leads to her bending over and picking it up carefully. Her fingers trace over its surface for a moment before she speaks.]
This is a weird turn of events, indeed...
[Tucking the small book beneath her arm, she begins to walk on ahead.]
[After a long while of walking, the residents of the town can see a dark-haired woman with two large appendages tucked behind her back. Her darkened eyes are looking straight ahead, though her ears seem to be twitching and moving, ever so faintly, as though trying to pinpoint noises.]
[Luceti, meet Anodrac. Clearly, she's unfamiliar with her surroundings, and a little bit nervous, to boot. Anyone want to be the one to welcome her?]

Date: 2011-05-11 01:54 am (UTC)[Okay, that's not entirely true, but since this man doesn't seem to be an ambassador or a king, Anodrac doesn't feel much of a need to flaunt about her leadership status. (Not that it matters here, anyway.)]

I haven't bothered to try since I've come to.

Date: 2011-05-11 02:30 am (UTC)[She looks a little disheartened -- but then again, that could be from the fact that SOMEONE IS TRYING TO HOLD HER RANSOM.]
And, on the subject of ransoms... I'm afraid I haven't got much in the way of friends. And I believe I'm much too far away from my family.

Date: 2011-05-12 01:32 am (UTC)...I don't know, truthfully. I was going to wander about until I found some place quiet to... rest, I suppose.

Date: 2011-05-13 12:54 am (UTC)[You'd expect the fact that he mentioned EXPERIMENTS to weird her out. But... nope. The only thing she doesn't understand is... what an apartment is. Living in a cavern your whole life would do that, I guess.]
...and if you don't live here anymore... does that mean you have your own dwelling? Or are you a nomad?

Villainously! Villainously concerned. Don't want you with your no possessions and not-intrinsically-worth-anything-to-anyone-here-ness to interrupt my regularly scheduled marauding, now do I?
Building one or Building seven---those are a bit on the charted edge. Check in either place for a room of your own.

Date: 2011-05-13 04:04 am (UTC)...you're a rather odd person. You know that, yes?
[After that, she smiles thankfully.]
But, out of villainous interests or not... I appreciate the help.
